Step 1:

CONTACT US

Contact Cornerstone ABA client services to chat with us about your child to see if we might be a good fit for their needs. Whether you are new to applied behavior analysis (ABA) or knowledgeable in the process, we are glad to answer any questions.

Step 2:

INSURANCE VERIFICATION

When you are ready to move forward, we will need a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card to verify ABA coverage and get an idea of what services will cost you. We will provide you with an estimate of cost (EOC) and work with you on a payment plan if needed.

Step 3:

INTAKE/ONBOARDING DOCUMENTS

After we have confirmed that ABA services are covered by your provider and you are ready to proceed, we will send you the intake packet to be completed. Please have your child’s autism diagnostic report and prescription for ABA therapy available to expedite the process.

Step 4:

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

During the initial assessment, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will meet with you and your child to get a better idea of their history, skills, and behaviors, as well as your priorities for therapy. Once the assessment report is written, the BCBA will meet with you to discuss the results and recommendations for treatment as well as submit the report to your insurance company to request authorization of services.

Step 5:

GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR THERAPY TEAM

Once authorization is received, your BCBA will reach out to introduce themselves and schedule your initial therapy session. Your BCBA is your point of contact for anything treatment related and will be able to direct you to the appropriate person for other questions or concerns.
